Important Safety Information at Sid's Badminton Club in Queen Mother Sport Center and Christ's School
The safety of our members our number one priority. Therefore, the rules before lockdown remain in place. These include:
- 2 meter social distancing will be observed
- All players must wear face coverings except whilst on court playing
- No spectators are permitted in the building
- The one-way system remains in effect
- Players will be called into the Centre in, please await outside the main entrance whilst waiting to be let in by Covid Officer
- The showers / changing room remain unavailable to use
- The Centre will continue to undertake extra cleaning and will provide hand sanitiser for everyone in different location
- All attendance must be made using the online form booking system
A Return to Badminton
The important and essenssial information you need to know
- We hope to re-open On Tuesday 18th of May 2021 at Queen Mother Sport Centre.
- We will re-open Badminton at the Christ’s School in Richmond on Sunday 23rd of May.

General Rules of Venue (Queen Mother Sport Centre) & (Christ's School) and book online

Perhaps the biggest change and most essential thing we need everyone to understand before they come back is that all players must pre-register their attendance at any session with us on the form we will provide each week in this page.This is a requirement of the venue. Please do NOT turn up on the off chance there may be a cancellation/no show. You still will not be able to play that evening.

- Please put your name forward as soon as possible as it makes it easier for us to plan the groups & give players their time slots.
- If you are feeling ill or have COVID symptoms - do not attend and follow NHS guidance.
- You need to arrive promptly for the session. We will gather as a group outside the venue and enter all together 5 minutes before the session. You must arrive at the venue changed and ready to play. Changing rooms will not be available before play - you can change footwear at the side of the court immediately before play.
- Again Upon arrival, wait for each other outside, then with me Joanna or or one of Covid officers enter the building all together and make your way to the hall in a group of six. This means for example: if we have 12 people playing for 2 hour, those 12 people will have to arrive together at reception, confirm the booking and they’ll be let through. QMSC would like to avoid players arriving one by one to stop various attendees clashing in the corridors.
- If possible, after play leave the venue without using the changing rooms/shower facilities.
- A one way system will be implemented for entry/exit. You will also need to follow this should yo need to is it the bathroom during your session
- Hand sanitiser stations will be located in the venue but we strongly recommend you bring your own to have with you in the sports hall

How to find us
We play at Queen Mother Sports Centre in Victoria, Central London In Tuesdays and Saturdays and Sundays.
we play in Christ's School near Richmond too on Sundays the reopening for this Centre will be on 23rd of May on ward, we play from 4:30-7:30 in this center..
In this venue we are going to have four courts and accepting up to 24 players currently.
The above rule also is applied there too.
If you are driving, parking is free from 6:30pm on single yellow lines, and 7:00pm on single red lines. Saturdays parking is free around the sport centre on pay and displays and yellow lines (Please check this before you park your car we do not take any responsibility regarding your car parking!)
